Roots
Born in 1992, Peza grew up in the Old City of Neo-Apollonia. A neighborhood that provided the artist her first visual inspirations with it’s historical architecture and it’s multicultural community.
Growing up in the company of a the neighborhood’s older generation Peza would discover graffiti writing in a young age. A craft that provided her first lessons in shape, color, composition and movement.
In the coming years Peza would open her graffiti shop, host benches and will become a key figure within Neo-Apollonia’s local graffiti scene.
In her studio works, Peza pays tribute to the street culture she grew up in and the social environment she’s a part of today. Spray paints and digital are the artist’s common weapon of choice. Partnering with Noir, the two artists also produce mural works as a team.
